Besides Netgalley I use Edelweiss for eARCs. I’ve been lucky this year with the eARCs I’ve received on Edelweiss. This year has also been a year of mood reading for me, so I’m a little bit behind. So I decided to take a look at a few of my eARCs I want to get to soon. Either releases that have already hit the shelves or some upcoming books. Let’s take a look!
Bookshops & Bonedust – Travis Baldree
After loving Legends & Lattes I’ve been anxiously awaiting Bookshops & Bonedust. So I was definitely excited when I got access to this book. It releases in November, so I think I’ll curl up with this one soon. I’m just debating whether or not I want to reread Legends & Lattes first. What would you do?
The Kingdom of Sweets – Erika Johansen
The Kingdom of Sweets is a dark magical take on The Nutcracker. This releases at the end of November. I just happen to have tickets to see the ballet the week before Christmas, so I definitely think it would be fun to read this before I go to the show. I love seeing how authors give stories a twist and this cover has me even more curious about the book.
The Angel Maker – Alex North
I’ve been wanting to read more thrillers this year, so that’s why I have The Angel Maker. This one definitely sounds a bit dark, but perfect for this time of year. I actually have this one on my radar because it’s actually a monthly read in the Facebook group I help moderate.
Death of a Bookseller – Alice Slater
Our main character is a true crime-obsessed bookseller and that’s something that caught my eye. I have to say I have heard some mixed reviews about this one, but I like to read something myself before judging a book. We’re in the perfect time of year for thrillers and mysteries. Now I just need a rainy day to curl up with this one!
So here are four of my Edelweiss eARCs I’m hoping to get to really soon. Have you read any of these? Which one should I pick up first? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
I can’t wait for Bookshops and Bonedust!
