TTT #309 | Reading Goals I Still Want to Accomplish Before the End of the Year

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is reading goals I still want to accomplish before the end of the year. I don’t have ten goals, but there are a few. I recently did a bookish goal update, but I’ll talk about them here as well.

Reading my Physical Books

Out of the 200 books I’ve read this year, 83 of them were physical books. The 83 books I read also included 38 backlist books. So I’m definitely reading more off of my shelves than in previous years. My goal is to get to at least 50 backlist books and this may be the first time since having this goal that I actually accomplish it.

Finish reading series

So in my mid year update I mentioned I’ve finished 15 series so far this year. After reaching my goal of 12 series early on I’m going to try and make it to 20 series. There are quite a few I can complete by reading one book, so I’m hoping to be able to do this.

Netgalley Ratio

I started a new Netgalley, because being a co-creator of TBR and Beyond Tours has given me access to a lot of eARCs. I now have one I only request the books I really want, but have definitely gotten more approvals than expected, haha. My goal is to read at least 10 more of the books on there before the end of the year. If I can get to 20 that would be even better!
