My last Show Sunday was about the upcoming fall shows I’m excited for. And because there were so many I decided to stick to the September and October releases. So today I wanted to share the excited releases of November and December. Turns out, some shows got delayed and there aren’t as many releases in those two months as there were supposed to be haha. I do still have 4, so let’s dive in!
All the Light We Cannot See (November 2nd)
The story of Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and Werner, a German soldier, whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.
I have to say I’m a little on the fence about this one. The book has raving reviews but I still haven’t read it. I used to read a lot of WW II books but I haven’t for a while now. And I haven’t watched that many shows and movies either. Somehow the heartbreak is just too real haha. But this does look really good and I would love to give it a try.
The Buccaneers (November 8th)
In the 1870s a bunch of rich American girls are trying to find a posh English husband during the London debutante season.
I can’t seem to find a trailer for this one. But it sounds fun! Apparently it’s based on a book and there was a tv show in the ’90s. I guess it could be a bit like Bridgerton, a show I really enjoy. Overall, I like historical fiction shows so I’m definitely curious to give it a try.
A Murder at the End of the World (November 14th)
Darby Hart, a Gen Z amateur sleuth, attempts to solve a murder at a secluded retreat.
This trailer was so confusing! I have to say I have no idea what is going on haha. We know there is a murder and it looks like we have dual timelines or maybe flashbacks. But other than that, I’m not sure. And the synopsis doesn’t give much more haha. But it does look interesting so I’m really curious about the first episode.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (December 20th)
Demigod Percy Jackson leads a quest across America to prevent a war among the Olympian gods.
This is probably one of the most anticipated releases of the year! I’m really excited! While I did read the series, I was behind the hype and never loved it as much as others did. I watched the movie and thought it was okay. But I’m now so excited to see what Disney does with it and I have really high hopes!
And those are the last 4 upcoming shows of 2023 I’m excited for! There is a lot coming from now until the end of the year and I hope I get to watch most of it. What show are you most excited about it? Let me know in the comments!
