We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
This past week was the first week of school. I was definitely nervous haha. This year I had a whole new class and while I did know some of the kids, most of the kids I hadn’t had in a class yet. But we had a pretty good week and I think we have a great group this year. I will say I was super tired after working all week haha. And this weekend I had two days of competition with my horse so I’m curious to see how this week will go haha. The competition went really well, I got a personal best score so I was super happy.
No new eARC’s this week, and that is probably a good thing because I haven’t been reading that much haha.
Soon after my previous Royal Update I finished my reread of Kingdom of Ash. I cried so much during that reread but I will say I’m craving to start my reread all over again haha. At the moment I’m still reading and loving The Fragile Threads of Power. I haven’t been reading as much as I would like unfortunately, hopefully everything at work will settle down soon so I have more energy to read. This week I’m planning on starting another audiobook and I think I’ll go with A Court of Thorns and Roses, the next book in my Sarah J. Maas reread.
I watched the final episodes of Nancy Drew (so sad this show has ended!) and I’m currently rewatching Revenge. After seeing a clip on TikTok I decided to start a rewatch, my first time watching it was when it was airing weekly so it has been awhile!
After listening to Taylor Swift non stop, I’m taking a little detour and listened to Selena’s new single! I’m enjoying it a lot and added it to my daily playlist.
And that was my Royal Update for the week! Not too exciting unfortunately but it is what it is haha. What have you been up to this week? And what have you been reading? Let me know in the comments!
