We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Since my last Royal Update I enjoyed my last week off of work. We just stayed at home and I went out to lunch with my mother as well. Now back at work it’s been really busy. Between vacations starting and a colleague out for other reasons, this last week was chaotic. Unfortunately, it’s going to be this way for at least a few more weeks.

It has also been a few warm days here, so it’s not actually motivating to go out and do stuff, haha. It’s been great for my reading though.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve been pretty good and only added one new thing to my Kindle. I got the eARC for The Unmaking of June Farrow. This book sounds really good and I’m excited to read it!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Love & Other Words, The Bookworm Crush, Unfortunately Yours, Borrow My Heart, Aurora’s End, Minx, Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone, The Seven Year Slip, Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six, and Long Shot.

I’m currently reading Solitaire, Playing for Keeps, Last Chance Books, Give Me a Sign, Below Zero, and Way of the Argosi.

Next I plan on reading That Summer Feeling, Sweet Dandelion, and My Roommate is a Vampire.

This week I don’t have any new bookish news for you. To be honest, I haven’t been on social media much this week and have been reading a lot. Hopefully next time I have something exciting to share!

I’ve been catching up on some shows that I got behind on during the season. At the moment I’m catching up with Fire County. I’m loving this show and I’m glad to see it’s getting a second season.

Kelly Clarkson is one of my favorite artists and she just released her newest album, chemistry! I’ve been listening to this one non-stop the last week.
