So we often talk about the Netgalley books we still have on our TBR or just received. I thought it would be fun to tell you about a few of my pending Netgalley requests. We talk about our anticipated releases, but I also thought this would be a fun way to highlight some upcoming releases. So here are five of my pending Netgalley requests (that I’m really excited about).
A Holly Jolly Ever After – Julie Murphy & Sierra Simone
So I know the summer just started, but if you’ve been following the blog for awhile you know I’m a big Christmas fan. Last year I loved A Merry Little Meet Cute and I’m so excited the next book in the series, A Holly Jolly Ever After, is releasing later this year. It seems our male main character is another member of the boy band the main character was from in the first book.
Midnight is the Darkest Hour – Ashley Winstead
This year I’ve read two books by Ashley Winstead: In My Dreams I Hold a Knife and The Boyfriend Candidate. Her next release is Midnight is the Darkest Hour and it sounds really good. This is a gothic southern thriller about a killer haunting a small Louisiana town. Midnight is the Darkest Hour releases in October and this sounds like a book perfect for a cold and rainy night.
Do Your Worst – Rosie Danan
I’ve only read The Roommate by Rosie Danan and really need to read The Intimacy Experiment soon. Rosie Danan also has a new release coming, Do Your Worst. A curse to break in an infamous Scottish castle, forced proximity and it seems enemies to lovers. These things seem like a perfect combination for a great story.
Wildfire – Hannah Grace
I read Icebreaker at the end of last year and while I had a few issues with certain aspects, I really enjoyed the story. So I was really excited when the sequel, Wildfire, was announced. Instead of a hockey player and an ice skater, Wildfire two camp counselors who reunite after a one night stand. I’m intrigued!
Unrealistic Expectations – Andie J. Christopher
If I hear a book has fake dating, I often don’t need to know more. Unrealistic Expectations makes this even more fun by the fact that a therapist fake dates after getting dumped right before her new dating handbook hits the shelves. I have a feeling I’m going to love this!
So here are five of my Netgalley pending requests. I have no clue if I’ll actually be approved for any of them, haha. I’ll be reading them regardless. Are any of these on your radar? Or do you have any pending requests you’re really excited about? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you!
Midnight is the Darkest Hour sounds so good!
I hope you get all of them. I think I have eight pending at the moment. Fingers crossed!
