We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Things have been pretty relaxing here lately. Last week I had my in person book club and it was a lot of fun. I really enjoy meeting up with a great group of people every month and discuss something we read. After book club it was our monthly game night with friends. I wasn’t really in the mood to play games, so I curled up on the couch and read most of the evening. It was still fun being with friends, but also doing my own thing!

This is another week I get to share a few eARCs I added to my Kindle that I’m really excited about! I really wish I didn’t need to sleep, because there are so many books I want to read, haha.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Carrie Soto Is Back, There is No Devil, A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon, Lost in Taiwan, Satan’s Affair, Re-Coil, Charming Your Dad, The Boyband Correspondence (DNF), and  In a Jam.

I’m currently reading: A Gathering of Shadows, The Fraud Squad, In the Lives of Puppets, The Boyfriend Candidate, and Haunting Adeline.

Next I plan on reading: Unfortunately Yours, Sadie, Nine Liars, and Accidental Attachment.

I feel like it’s been quiet this past week when it comes to bookish news. So I have nothing new to share with you this week.

Once again, I’m being boring when it comes to my shop log, haha. I have nothing new to tell you about.

Last week I finally watched Dumplin’. I read the book quite awhile ago, but never got around to watching the movie. I have to say I enjoyed it and the movie felt genuine to the book. I’m glad I finally sat down to watch it.

I also finally started watching the final season of The Fosters. Why I haven’t finished this show yet I have no clue. I do remember why I loved this show so much though. And Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist finally started being aired out here and I’ve seen the first two episodes. I’m loving it!

I’ve been in the mood for all kinds of things, so I’ve been listening to mixes of different things. My most recent one is the 2010s Mix. A lot of songs I love are on this list and I’ve discovered a few I didn’t know!
