We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I don’t really have much to talk about this week. Last weekend I went to a fun book event at my favorite bookstore and did some after hour shopping. I splurged a bit and it was a lot of fun! Other than that the weather has been rainy and I was sick last week. So I’ve just been hanging around the house.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added six amazing eARCs to my Kindle. I’m excited about reading all of them!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: If Only You, Brutal Obsession, Click’d, Meesh the Bad Demon, Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake, There Are No Saints, I Like You Like That, Happy Place,  A Darker Shade of Magic, and Best Men.

I’m currently reading There is No Devil, A Gathering of Shadows, Carrie Soto is Back, Re-Coil and A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon.

The next books I plan on reading are She Is a Haunting, The Fraud Squad, and In a Jam.

There were some amazing cover reveals this week and I want to share four of them. Look at all of these amazing covers. The stories also all sound amazing!

Nothing new to report in this week’s shopping log. I bought a lot of books last week during a book outing, but those you won’t see until our bookhaul at the beginning of June.

I’ve watched some amazing things the last couple of weeks. I finally finished watching Younger and binged all six episodes of Queen Charlotte. For last week’s movie night we watched Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Ed Sheeran’s new album is out and I had to start listening to it. There are some really amazing songs on it!
