We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The beginning of April has been busy. It was Easter and work was really busy. We also went to the boyfriend’s parents’ house to celebrate his father’s birthday. It was nice to see his family again. We had a quite Easter at home that was really nice.

Last week I had a fun outing with my mother. We did some shopping and I finally got to buy her a birthday gift that she wanted. We went to Starbucks and I got to see my name with a different spelling again! Last weekend we had our monthly gaming day with friends and I got some reading in. The weather has been getting nicer, but my allergies haven’t been appreciating it, haha.

I have two eARCs and one ALC to share this week that I recently added to my Kindle. I’m already listening to Fourth Wing and loving it!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: The Fiancee Farce, The Guy For Me, Forever His, What the Hex, In My Dreams I Hold a Knife, When in Rome, Sweet Memory, and The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels.

I’m currently reading Fourth Wing, Coach, Whispers of War, Court of the Undying Seasons, and Hooked.

Next I’ll be reading Green Jewel, Weak Side, and The Neighbor Favor.

There was one cover reveal that I wanted to share this week! I recently loved Emily Wilde’s Encyclopadia of Faeries, so I was excited to see the cover for the sequel. Emily Wilde’s Map of Otherlands releases in January 2024 and I’m excited. Look at this stunning cover!

The only things I’ve recently bought are a few T-shirts and some pajamas. Not very exciting, haha. So nothing to really report here this week!

We’ve been continuing with some interesting movies for movie night. The last two we watched were Mummies and Murder Mystery. Both were entertaining and just what you need on a relaxing Sunday!

Spotify has been making some fun daily mixes for me and I’ve been enjoying them. I’ve gotten to listen to some of my favorites and I’ve even heard some new artists.
