As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is over 500 pages. I’m glad with this topic, because one of my goals is to also read bigger books this year. I’ve been loving bigger books lately and here are five I hope to tackle soon!
Timber – Tate James (670 pages)
Timber is the final book in the Hades series that I’ve been loving. I read the first 3 late last year and I should complete the series before I start forgetting stuff. After all of the cliffhangers in this series I’m ready to see how this all ends. Thankfully there are more books in this world I can read after completing this series.
A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J Maas (757 pages)
I’ve been determined to read this one and actually even started Nesta and Cassian’s story. A Court of Silver Flames is a book I know I’m going to love, so I have no clue why I haven’t read it yet. Maybe I just don’t want to be done with this book, haha. We have awhile to go before Maas gives us another book.
The Crown of Gilded Bones – Jennifer L. Armentrout (645 pages)
This year I’m determined to get caught up with all of the books in the From the Blood and Ash world. I loved the first two books and have quite a few to get caught up with now (4 I think), so quite a few 500+ page books to catch up on!
Anastasia – Sophie Lark (686 pages)
Anastasia by Sophie Lark is a retelling I saw everywhere when it was about to release. This is an author I started reading last year and ended up absolutely loving. I’ve heard quite a few mixed reviews about Anastasia, but I know what to expect going in. It’ll be interesting, because this one also has illustrations throughout the book.
Charm – Tracy Wolff (592 pages)
Crave has been an addicting series for me. It’s not always amazing, but it’s kind of like a train wreck you just can’t stop watching. During this series we know our main character spends four months as stone and in a kind of other world. Charm is finally the story of those four months and I need to know what happened!
So here are five books on my TBR that are over 500 pages. Have you read any of these? Which one should I start with first? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
A Court of Silver Flames is soooo good!
