5 On My TBR | Title Starting with an ‘F’

One of our most important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking our physical TBRs. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books you still have or subjects you want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. It’s a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is books with titles that start with an ‘F’. I can’t think of one right away, but I’m sure I’ll find a couple once I dive in. So let’s get started!

1. Fire & Heist – Sarah Beth Durst

This is a bit of a blast from the past! I used to get a lot of bookboxes but hardly ever read the books. And once I stopped ordering the bookboxes, I did get a lot if the books second hand. Fire & Heist is one of the books I got secondhand, it sounded interesting and like something I wanted to read at the time. I like that it’s a standalone fantasy so I think it could be a quick read, I’m just wondering if I actually want to invest time in it.

2. Finale – Stephanie Garber

This one will have to wait a while, I still need to read the second book in the Caraval series before I can pick this one up. I didn’t love the first book, but I do own the complete trilogy so I do want to give the rest a chance. Everyone seems to love the second book more than the first one so I have some hope haha.

3. Five Dark Fates – Kendare Blake

I can’t believe I keep putting this one on lists like this. It’s so stupid! I adore the series and this is the last book in it. A book I have already partly read. Even though I keep putting this one on lists, I also keep putting off actually reading it. And I just need to do it soon, because I do really want to know how it ends, even though I’m scared because I do have a feeling….

4. Furyborn – Claire Legrand

I was super excited about this one, but not so much anymore to be honest. The reviews were all over the place and it seems like a pretty big one. Maybe this will be another one for a try a chapter post ;).

5. Forest of a Thousand Lanterns – Julie C. Dao

This one I was also super excited about. It’s based on the Evil Queen story and I’m pretty sure it’s a villain origin story. I think this could definitely be my kind of book and I really need to pick it up soon.

Five books on my TBR that have titles starting with F! Some I’m excited about, others I’m not sure about anymore haha. Which one should I start with first? Let me know in the comments!
