We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Since my last Royal Update things haven’t been very exciting. I went to my second book club meeting and the boyfriend joined this time. It was nice discussing the book and hearing other thoughts than your own.
Other than that just work and the usual stuff. We had to take Shasta to the vet this week, because she’s been coughing. The vet thinks it could be an infection, so she’s on medicine for the next two weeks. If it’s not better after two weeks, we have to go back for more testing to find out what it is. So fingers crossed our furry one feels better soon.
I have 4 new eARCs to show you this week. So many books and just not enough time, haha.
Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: A Long Time Coming, Places We’ve Never Seen, The Atlas Six, Survive the Night, Ship Wrecked, Mysteries of Thorn Manor, An Optimist’s Guide to Love, and Komi Can’t Communicate.
I’m currently reading: A Pessimist’s Guide to Love, The Words, Nine Liars, Twisted Love, The Girl in the Headlines, Gild, Dark Fae, and The Serpents and the Wings of Night.
Next up I’ll be reading: If We Were Villains, You Made a Fool of Death with Your Beauty, and Before I Let Go.
There was one cover reveal this week that I was really excited for! Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date is the next book in the Bright Falls series and releases in November!
There’s nothing to report in my shop log this week. I’m still enjoying my page turner and Kindle holder.
I finally finished This is Us! I’m sad it’s over, but this has definitely become a favorite show of mine. I’ll be re-watching in the future.
Sam Smith’s new album came out and that has been playing on my Spotify since then. Another amazing set of songs!
So that’s my Royal Update this week! How have you been? Have you read or watched anything amazing recently? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
I hope you and your fur baby feel better soon! I had to take my cat to the vet, too. That’s never fun.
