We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

These past two weeks haven’t been really exciting. We’ve gotten so much rain, so I’ve been spending a lot of time inside reading. Last week the weather cleared and I went on a little shopping trip with my mother. I bought three books (which you’ll see in our bookhaul next week) and we went to lunch.

On Friday we got some snow and we had game night on Saturday. I was a little under the weather, so I went home early for some kitty cuddles and reading. I’m really enjoying my page turner and Kindle holder.

For once I have no new e-arcs to tell you about today! Not that I don’t have plenty to get through, haha.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: All the Dangerous Things, A Million to One, A Tale of Two Princes, Exes and O’s, and Seven Percent of Ro Devereux.

I’m currently reading: The Atlas Six, A Long Time Coming, Dark Fae, Survive the Night, Places We’ve Never Been, Mysteries of Thorn Manor and Astrid Parker Doesn’t Fail.

Up next will be: Kingdom of the Wicked, Love & Other Words, Unanimity, and The Serpent & the Wings of the Night.

There were quite a few cover reveals this week that caught my attention. All of these books look amazing!

I actually have something to show you in my shop log. After seeing a reel with a tablet holder and remote page turner my boyfriend got me both as an early birthday gift. Reading without cold hands is very pleasant.

We have a weekly movie night every weekend and last weekend we watched Disenchanted. I think I enjoyed Enchanted just a bit more, but it was still really good!

Last week I was in the mood for The Greatest Showman soundtrack. I loved that movie and the music. If you haven’t seen it, I can definitely recommend it!
