We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I finally handed in my last assignment after some long and hard work, now I have to wait to see if it was good enough before I can do my final presentation. Let’s hope I will be graduated by the end of the month!! As soon as I handed in my assignment I also had to go back to work. The first week was a pretty good week but with all the work I did on my assignment, I did realise I was pretty tired. I’m trying to take it easy after work and on the weekend but that’s quite hard for me haha. This past weekend I went to the casino with a friend, didn’t win anything unfortunately haha. And the day after I went shopping with my mom. So a fun weekend but also a bit tiring haha.

After getting a ton of new eARC’s at the start of the year, I didn’t get any new ones. I have more than enough to get through, and I’m happy to say I did finish one and I’m in the middle of another one.

I had a really good start of the year reading wise! Thanks to audiobooks I already finished 4 books. Hopefully I can keep that up. So far I’ve finished The King of Crows, Untethered Sky, False Witness and The Last Widow. I’m currently reading Arch-Conspirator and The Silent Wife. After that I’m hoping to finally start Chain of Gold.

I finally have something for the shop log. After seeing some cool tiktok’s I’ve bought a Digital Reading Journal on Etsy. The seller is Blackroseplanners and I would highly recommend it. Friday I will share a post with more details about it so keep your eyes peeled!

I’ve just been watching Bones at the background while working on my assignment. Now that I’ve got more time I hope to catch up with some of my other shows.

I have been listening to a lot of podcasts again and I found a new one I enjoy a lot. After listening to a certain case on Big Mad True Crime I started The Prosecutors on that same crime. And now I’m listening from the start!
