Bookish Item| January 2023 Five Star Predictions

I’ve done a few five star prediction posts, but never one based on the e-arcs that I have. Since blogging I’ve become really lucky with getting some e-arcs of books that sound really good or I’m really excited about. So I wanted to start taking a look at those more and what ones I think will be 5 stars! Here are some of my January 2023 releases I’m excited about and have high hopes for. Keep on reading to find out more!

Exes and O’s – Amy Lea

After loving Set On You, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the next book in this series. Exes and O’s is about that main character’s sister, Tara, and she’s a bookstagrammer. That had my attention from the get go. She revisits her exes in the hopes of finding her second chance romance. This sounds like so much fun!

A Tale of Two Princes – Eric Geron

I love books with royalty and this kind of gives me a little Red, White and Royal Blue vibes. When our two main characters bump into each other, they realize the are long-lost twins. Even though this sounds like a fun story I have a feeling this may also be a bit emotional.

Lost in the Moment and Found – Seanan McGuire

The Wayward Children series is one I’ve loved. I’m so impressed that the author manages to give us such amazing stories in 200 pages or less. Even though I’m a couple books behind on this series (which I’m hoping to make up at the beginning of 2023), I’m excited for Lost in the Moment and Found. I have a feeling this is going to be one that hits in all the feels.

All the Dangerous Things – Stacy Willingham

After reading A Flicker in the Dark in October, I was very excited to see that Stacy’s next book was releasing in January. All Dangerous Things has to do with a missing child, so I have a feeling this one will be even more intense, but I’m curious. Besides my e-arc, I have an early copy of the audiobook. I don’t know which way I’ll go yet.

Seven Percent of Ro Devereux – Ellen O’Clover

I remember folding papers and playing MASH as a teenager and it was always a fun activity. Our main character makes an app out of this idea to predict someone’s future and match them with their soulmates. This goes viral after it gets attention from a tech company. Something our main character never expects. On top of this interesting story, we seem to get fake dating and that’s something I love. I can’t wait to read this!

So here are five January 2023 releases I have high hopes for. I’ll be putting all of these on my January TBR, so hopefully I’ll be able to write a wrap up post for this in February. If it’s a success, I’ll definitely have to do this more often. What January 2023 releases do you have high hopes for? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
