It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?
The First to Die at the End – Adam Silvera
They Both Die at the End is a book that really surprised me. I never expected a book to make me that emotional when it takes place in less than 24 hours. When I got The First to Die at the End I was excited, but also emotionally scared, haha. This book was everything I was hoping it to be and I loved the little references to They Both Die at the End.
Mistakes Were Made – Meryl Wilsner
Mistakes Were Made was a book I was really looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. Our main characters meet at a bar and end up sleeping together. Things get interesting when they find they have someone in common: daughter & best friend. It was interesting and I loved that even though there was some drama it wasn’t too much. My full review will be up on Saturday!
Single and Ready to Jingle – Piper Rayne
Single and Ready to Jingle was a cute holiday romance. The brother’s best friend trope was done well here and Andrew & Kenzie were fun characters. I mean she shows up to her first date with him in an elf costume. There were a lot of laugh out loud moments and I loved how their relationship developed.
What are you currently reading?
Ivy – Willa Nash
Ivy is a book I’ve been wanting to read since it released earlier this year and I finally started reading it. At the moment I’m almost halfway through. All of our characters have secrets and they’re not all likable, but learning more about them has things making sense. Fans of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars will enjoy this one. I still don’t know who to trust and have no clue how this one will end.
Two Wrongs Make a Right – Chloe Liese
I read all five of the available Bergman Brothers books earlier this year and now I want to read everything written by Chloe Liese. I’m only 7 chapters into this book and I’m already loving it. Bea and Jamie are already cute together even if they don’t completely see it that way yet.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Blood Like Fate – Liselle Sambury
Blood Like Magic was a book I read a few months ago and really enjoyed. Can you imagine having to destroy your first love to save the magic your family has? The magic, family history, and secrets made this book very intriguing. I can’t wait to read how it continues in this one.
Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six – Lisa Unger
The weather has been colder this last week and it’s been pretty rainy. So a thriller definitely seems fitting. Especially one with three couples at a luxurious cabin in the woods for a weekend. It sounds great until a deadly storm comes in and things start to get interesting. I can’t wait to sit down with this one.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read anything amazing lately? Or what are you reading now? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
A good mix of books there. I hope you enjoy the books that you have yet to read. I have been seeing Two Wrongs Make A Right around a lot recently.
Have a great week!
