We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

While I was still really tired the past two weeks and wasn’t feeling great, I also did some fun things. I saw CAAMP live in Amsterdam, absolutely amazing! It was a great atmosphere and I had a lot of fun. Beforehand my bestie and I had dinner in Amsterdam and it was a fun evening. Last Friday I went to Toppers in Concert in Amsterdam with my mom. She really wanted to go so I went with her. It’s 4 dutch artists who cover a lot of (Dutch) songs and they have a bunch of other artists as guests who do a lot of songs as well. It’s fun, everyone sings a long and it was nice to be there with my mom.

No new eARC’s this time! I did manage to finally review one this weekend haha, hopefully I can slowly work on that ratio.

I only finished one book these past two weeks, Before the Devil Breaks You by Libba Bray. And I’m happy to say I also started the final book in that series, The King of Crows. I’m super excited to see how this series ends.

I’m super busy so I haven’t been watching much even though a lot of series I follow just had a new season released. Hopefully I can watch them soon! But for now I’ve just been watching Bones since it’s easy and I can just have it in the background haha.

After hearing a couple of his songs covered at the concert last Friday I went on an Elton John kick haha. I have a couple of songs I love a lot and I have just been listening to them on repeat.
