Royal Update #143

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The past two weeks have been a bit less busy luckily. I went to another concert with by best friend, we saw Sons of the East in Amsterdam. It was a fun night, even though it was a Monday and I had to get up early for work the next day haha. Work has been pretty good and I started a Montessori course to get a diploma for Montessori Education. The first afternoon was super interesting and I can’t wait for the next one. Last weekend I also had my first competition in months and I loved it! I can’t wait to do more competitions again. Apart from the competition I also took care of my friends mini-donkey’s and her sisters horses. And yesterday we had a surprise party for my besties 30th birthday. It was a fun afternoon filled with games and shenanigans.

No new eARC’s this time! I guess it’s once again time to focus on the ones I already have ;).

I finished A Court of Silver Flames and As Good As Dead. At the moment I’m listening to Lair of Dreams and I’m also still reading The Hero of Ages. Audiobooks have been the way to go for me lately, from the last 7 books I finished 6 were audiobooks haha. At least this way I keep consuming stories!

I have been watching a lot of Big Sky, 9-1-1, 9-1-1 Lone Star and Bones. It was time to get caught up with the 9-1-1’s as the new season of the original started. And I’m trying to do the same for Big Sky. Bones is a larger project as I’m currently watching season 6, so I have still a lot of episodes to go haha.

Two weeks ago I went to a concert and the band now released their new album. So of course I have been listening to that!

That was my Royal Update for the week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know it the comments! I would love to hear your recommendations.
