We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
I’m so happy, because I can now officially say I’m off of work the next three weeks. So hopefully I have some fun things to update about in my next Royal Update. Things here have still been pretty quiet. Cats have still been giving us issues, but we’re hoping things start getting back to normal.
Last week I went shopping with my mother and we went to eat lunch. And Saturday was game night and it was nice seeing everyone again. I still have to say that socializing can be tiring. Eight people all at once just takes a lot of energy to keep processing. It was still a lot of fun!
There are four new e-arcs that I added to my Kindle this week. I was so excited about getting Ship Wrecked!!
Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: As Seen on TV, Daisy Darker, The Charmed List, Don’t Close Your Eyes, On the Subject of Unmentionable Things, A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime, and Love on the Brain.
I’m currently reading: The Appeal, Shipped, Club 22, and Cursed Fates.
This week I plan on reading Blood Like Magic, A Merry Little Meet Cute, and Hook, Line and Sinker.
Mariana Zapata released a surprise book last week. She’s an author I plan on trying this year, so I may start with this book!
This week I got two new bottles of nail polish. When at work I’m not allowed to wear it, so I always take advantage of my vacation time to make my nails look pretty. I chose some nice autumn colors.
Lately I’ve been watching quite a bit of Booktube videos and Dutch reality TV. So not much to talk about here really.
John Legend is a singer I really love and was excited to see he had a new album. So that’s what I listened to on my commute to work last week.
So that’s my Royal Update for this week. How have you been? Read or watch anything interesting lately? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
