We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I loved so much I had to get a physical copy for my library. I’ll have to look through my books, but I’ve definitely read e-arcs of e-books I loved so much that I just had to have the physical copy on my shelf. Let’s take a look at ten of those books!
Delilah Green Doesn’t Care – Ashley Herring Blake
Delilah Green Doesn’t Care was one of my 2022 favorite reads. I loved the characters, romance, and story. When I read this I read my e-arc, so as soon as I was done reading I preordered my physical copy.
Red, White and Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston
Just like with Delilah Green Doesn’t Care I was lucky to get an e-arc before this book released and I loved it!! After getting my physical copy I actually read it again to annotate it. I will be reading it again!
Shielded – KayLynn Flanders
I was actually reading my e-arc for the book tour when the book released. As I was reading I knew I wanted the physical copy and actually ended up finishing the book with the hardcover that came in.
The Fine Print – Lauren Asher
I read the e-book of The Fine Print and I loved the whole Disneyland feel of the story. After that I saw this edition of the book and I needed it. Look how pretty it is! I also bought Terms and Conditions that I still need to read.
Small Spaces – Katherine Arden
To this day Small Spaces is still the creepiest middle grade book that I’ve read. I still can’t look at scarecrows the same. After reading the e-book I loved it so much I got this paperback. I love the colors on the cover and just the vibes it has.
So there are only five at the moment that I can think of that I’ve already added physically to my shelves. I do have another five I want to add to my shelves after loving the e-books/arcs/audiobooks.
The Dead Romantics – Ashley Poston
Not only does this book have a really cute cover the story was also very heartwarming. It’s not spooky, but this could definitely be added to Halloween reads. It does have ghosts.
The Bonds That Tie – J. Bree
I devoured the first three books in this series and plan on reading the next two that are already available really soon. After loving the books so much and thinking the covers are stunning I really want the physical copies.
The Bergman Brothers – Chloe Liese
The Bergman Brothers series is a series I saw everywhere and got curious about when the fifth book released a couple of months ago. I listened to all of the audiobooks in a month and I’ve come to love this family and all of the characters. So of course I need them on my shelf.
The Guncle – Steven Rowley
The Guncle is such a heartwarming book that deals with grief and I wanted to give it a big hug when I finished reading it. I listened to the audiobook and the author did an amazing job as narrator. For a reread I really want the physical copy, so I can annotate this story.
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches – Sangu Mandanna
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is one of my more recent reads and I loved it so much. It was everything I wanted and needed in a book. Also, just look at this pretty cover!

I have been wanting to read RW&RB for ages, it’s one I definitely need to read, it sounds exactly like something I’d enjoy. Great selection!

Great list and take on this week’s prompt. Red, white and Royal Blue almost made it to my list, but I pick One Last Stop instead… I can’t wait to read Only When It’s Us and The Fine Prints which ebooks are both on my TBR. I hope I love them enough to want to get a physical copy.
Have a great week 🙂

You picked some great ones. Shielded was so good and I don’t see many people talk about it.
I’ve not read any of these, but glad you enjoyed them so much that you got physical copies for your personal library.

I really want to read The Guncle, but I have a feeling it would absolutely destroy me! I also keep seeing The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, and I’m obsessed with the cover. Great list!
