When this post comes online it’s a few days away from the start of July! Again, how is this year flying by so fast?!? This does mean that it’s time to start looking to see what new books will be releasing next month. Are there are a lot we’re looking forward to or are our wallets safe? Keep on reading to see what out anticipated July releases are!
Dream On – Angie Hockman (July 5th)
I read Shipped by Angie Hockman and enjoyed it. Dream On is this author’s next book. Can you imagine waking up after an accident and remember a boyfriend who doesn’t exist? Except a year later she runs into this man and he believes her story. I have a feeling we’re going to get a fun love story!
The Society for Soulless Girls – Laura Steven (July 7th)
We both love Laura Steven and add everything she comes out with right away. But this dark academy thriller also sounds like it will be right up our alley. We got very lucky and got eARC’s so we are currently reading this one. Hopefully we’ll have a review for you all soon.
Youngblood – Sasha Laurens (July 19th)
An elite vampire-only boarding school, you already had me there. Dark academia meets the Vampire Diaries, even more yes yes yes. And two queer teens discovering a conspiracy? Sign me up! Can’t wait to read this one.
Crumbs – Danie Stirling (July 19th)
This is a graphic novel and it sounds so cute. It was first published on Webtoon and will now be available in physical form. I love the sound of the magical bakery and I can’t wait to get lost in this story.
Heat Wave – TJ Klune (July 19th)
We both loved The Extraordinaries and are currently reading the sequel. So of course we can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy. T.J. Klune is an amazing writer and we are interested in everything he comes out with!
The Accidental Pinup – Danielle Jackson (July 19th)
The title and the cover are the two things that caught my eye about this book. Two rival photographers come together for a body positive lingerie campaign and our main character ends up being the model. I’ve never read a story like this before, so I’m really curious.
The Bodyguard – Katherine Center (July 19th)
I’ve never read a bodyguard romance, but I love that this one has the roles reversed. The female lead is the bodyguard and the male character is the one being protected. Add some fake dating and I’m even more intrigued. I need The Bodyguard when it releases.
A Strange and Stubborn Endurance – Fox Meadows (July 26th)
A Strange and Stubborn Endurance wasn’t on my radar until a few weeks ago when I saw a booktuber talk about it. Politics and a queer love story! I’ll sign up for that. I can’t wait to read this book.
So these are the books we’re looking forward to in July! What books are on your radar? Any that we missed and need to know about? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you.
A Strange and Stubborn Endurance is on my wish list! sounds fab.
