The last weeks I’ve been looking at my books based on their ratings, the highest and the lowest. I really enjoy looking at little statistics like those. So today I wanted to see which books on my TBR had the most ratings! Let’s take a look at the most rated books on my TBR.
The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkien
3,383,951 ratings
I guess this shouldn’t have been a surprise haha! Tolkien is one of the most famous (fantasy) authors ever and this book has been around forever. The rating is also really good and I would love to read this one soon.
The Night Circus – Erin Morgenstern
826,962 ratings
Quite a big step down! But still a lot of ratings and also not surprising. This book has been talked about for years and most people seem to love it. Lately I’ve been hearing more and more people disliking it, but it does sound like a book I would enjoy a lot. Might be a bit slow but that’s okay with me.
The Song of Achilles – Madeline Miller
819,150 ratings
A close third! And another one that isn’t that surprising as it’s talked about a lot as well. I’ve seen it on tiktok so much and have heard nothing but good things about it haha. This might be one I love a lot but I also need to be in the mood to read a historical story like this.
The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas
723,567 ratings
This was definitely one I was expecting on here! I feel like I should read it really soon as it has been coming up in posts a lot lately haha. Maybe it’s a sign ;). This is such an important read and I have to read it.
The Shadow of the Wind – Carlos Ruiz Zafon
550,289 ratings
I have been wanting to read something by Carlos Ruiz Zafon for so long! But I’ll admit I don’t read that many adult books and I’m not sure I’ll enjoy it that much. I think I need to be in the mood for a book like this.
The Wise Man’s Fear – Patrick Rothfuss
489,721 ratings
I don’t want to read this until we have a release date for the last book in the series haha. It’s a really big book and it took me a while to read the first book. I do want to read it at some point, but I guess I won’t do so for a while.
The Couple Next Door – Shari Lapena
452,506 ratings
The first mystery on here! I didn’t think this was the most rated mystery on my TBR but I’ll take it haha. A friend recommended this one and she loved it a lot. I have been planning on reading this for years now haha.
A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness
438,482 ratings
I want to have read this one but I’m not sure I actually want to read it if that makes sense. The tv show looks interesting but I want to read at least the first book before starting the show. I think it will be a very slow book and it’s pretty big so it’s going to take me quite some time to read.
The Way of Kings – Brandon Sanderson
382,834 ratings
I was expecting Brandon Sanderson a lot higher up to be honest! But still the top 10 haha. I have a couple of Brandon Sanderson books on my TBR but this isn’t the one I will read first. If I have to pick one now, I’ll probably go with the rest of the Mistborn series first.
The Red Pyramid – Rick Riordan
362,719 ratings
I totally forgot I owned this one! Maybe I’ll do a reread of the Percy Jackson series before the tv show and than continue with this series. But I’m not sure yet haha. If not, it might be a while before I pick this up haha.
These are the 10 books with the most ratings on my TBR. I’m pretty excited about almost half of these books, but maybe I just have to pick up all of them haha. Should I do a try a chapter tag with some of these books? Let me know in the comments!
