Bookish Item| eARC Priorities Part 2

So last week Isabelle talked about the e-arcs she really wants to make a priority. After reading this post it got me thinking about what eARCs I really need to get to ASAP. And believe me there are quite a few, so I’ll talk about the first batch today. Keep on reading to see what my eARC priorities are!

I do want to mention first that I recently made a new Netgalley account. Since being on the team that runs TBR and Beyond Tours my account has gotten flooded with the books we host tours for. That’s not a bad thing at all, but it isn’t making it easy for me to keep up. So I decided to make a new account outside of that one, so I could keep my ratio up. I’ve been lucky to get approved for some amazing titles that will get me started and a few read now titles.

Places We’ve Never Been – Kasie West

Kasie West writes contemporary books that I tend to enjoy. Places We’ve Never Been sounds like a perfect summer read. A childhood friendship that has faded since one of them moved away is rekindled when two families go on vacation together. Things won’t go smoothly of course. I’m excited to go on this road trip with these characters.

Maggie Moves On – Lucy Score

Lucy Score is an author I’ve heard so many amazing things about (I even own a few of her books). Her next release, Maggie Moves On, releases this month and I’m excited about this e-arc. I love watching reality TV when they remodel houses, so let’s enjoy a main character that does the same thing.

I Kissed Shara Wheeler – Casey McQuiston

I Kissed Shara Wheeler is actually a book I now also own a paperback of. I had a feeling I’ll love it, so I couldn’t resits. This will also be the first of the e-arcs that I read, because it’s a group read in TBR and Beyond this month! From what I’ve heard there’s also a bit of a mystery in this contemporary, so I’m excited.

The Charmed List – Julie Abe

If I’m honest The Charmed List was definitely one I wanted for the cover alone. When our main character plans a summer with an Anti-Wallflower List things are looking good. Until one thing on the list goes horribly wrong and she gets stuck on a road trip with someone she really doesn’t want to spend time with. We all know this is going to change.

Carrie Soto Is Back – Taylor Jenkins Reid

Taylor Jenkins Reid has become an author I will read anything from. Carrie Soto Is Back is her next book and I’m so excited I got approved for this one. Carrie Soto was a legendary tennis player who decides to make a comeback in 1994. I think it will be interesting to read how this comeback goes.

Thank You for Listening – Julie Whelan

The main character is an actress turned audiobook narrator and I just love that concept. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with a character who has that job. There’s definitely a romance element in this as well and I’m so curious to see how this all plays out.

Mistakes Were Made – Meryl Wilsner

A sexy romcom about a college senior who accidentally hooks up with her best friend’s mom. That’s not something I’ve ever read before, haha. I have a feeling it’s not going to be just that night and things are going to get complicated.

Booked on a Feeling – Jayci Lee

Another one for me that caught my attention based on the cover and title alone. If it’s anything bookish I always need to read it. I honestly don’t know much about the actual storyline, but I have a feeling I’ll enjoy it.

So here are 8 e-ARCs I’m determined to read really soon! I’ll make sure to check in after a few weeks to see what I’ve read so far. Are any of these books on your radar? Which one would you like to see a review of first? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Seems like everyone has been loving the new McQuiston as much as their first two! I hope you do as well.
