WWW Wednesday #9

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

The Summer Proposal – Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland is an author I’ve heard of before, but hadn’t read myself. The Summer Proposal was the read for a bookstagram book club I’m in. I listened to the audiobook and I loved the story. It has funny moments, steamy moments, and some moments that are pretty emotional. I’ll definitely be reading more by this author.

It’s Not Summer Without You – Jenny Han

So far I’ve finished The Summer I Turned Pretty and It’s Not Summer Without You. I want to read this trilogy before the show comes out in June. It’s very clear this is an older YA trilogy and it’s pretty predictable, but I’ve enjoyed the story. I’m curious to see how this story will go on screen.

7th Circle – Tate James

After reading the Madison Kate series I’ve come to the conclusion that Tate James is going to become a favorite author. Her writing style is addicting and 7th Circle was another amazing start of a new series. She really knows how to leave you wanting more at the end as well. I needed to know how it continued. Let me just say I’m glad the whole series is already out.

What are you currently reading?

All Downhill With You – Julie Olivia

All Downhill With You is a grumpy/sunshine romance that I’m really loving. When this comes online I’ll probably be all done. It releases tomorrow and I definitely recommend it. Our main character loves the amusement park she works at and the other main character is there to help fix a roller coaster that had two accidents. I’m loving the chemistry.

Only When It’s Us – Chloe Liese

The Bergman Brothers series is one I’ve seen quite often and since the fifth book just released I’ve been curious. The audiobook I was listening to just wasn’t working for me. The story was good, but it just wasn’t keeping my attention. So I decided to start Only When It’s Us. I’ve listened to about a third of the book and I’m loving Ryder and Willa. Why didn’t I start this series sooner?

Anarchy – Tate James

Like I said when talking about 7th Circle I needed to know how the story continued. Hades’ story is one wild ride and I’m almost done with Anarchy as well. These books are just so addicting. I can’t wait to see what the author throws at our characters next.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Lair of Dreams – Libba Bray

We’re hosting a series read of The Diviners and this month we’re reading Lair of Dreams. I can’t wait to read this one and see how everything continues. This world is really interesting and it’s a big book, so I need to start on time, haha.

Not the Witch You Wed – April Asher

I host a swoon read every month and this month’s read is Not the Witch You Wed. A fake relationship is a paranormal rom-com is all I needed to know to want to read this one. The discussion is Sunday, so I’ll be binge reading, haha.

Carrie Soto Is Back  – Taylor Jenkins Reid

Taylor Jenkins Reid writes amazing stories with unique characters. Carrie Soto Is Back doesn’t release until the end of August, but since I got the e-arc I really want to read it sooner. It’s less than 400 pages, so it shouldn’t take me long to read.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read any of my reads? What are you reading or have recently read? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

  1. So many great books I want to read too. I already had on my TBR Not the Witch You Wed (I received the paperback in a subscription box a couple of month ago) and the Diviner series. And I added to my TBR Only when it’s Us and All Downhill with You. Thanks for the great recs, I’m excited about these books.
