5 On My TBR | Contemporary

Tracking your TBR is pretty important when it’s quite large, haha. Besides Down the TBR Hole and my Netgalley Backlist we needed something to track my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is Identity but I’m not feeling that one. So I’m going with the prompt for next week; contemporary. I have more than enough for that one haha. So let’s see which 5 I picked out.

A Girl Called Shameless – Laura Steven

I’ve talked about Laura Steven a couple of times, so you might know I love her and her books. The first book in this duology is one of my favorite contemporary books ever and I would highly recommend it to everyone. It has a very important message. I can’t believe I still haven’t read this one yet, maybe I’m scared it’ll disappoint?

Save the Date – Morgan Matson

I liked the Morgan Matson book I read and I’m sure I will enjoy this one as well. As I’m going to 4 weddings this upcoming half year I think this will be even more fun to read. I hope I can read it this summer (and the other Morgan Matson book on my TBR right after haha).

A Thousand Perfect Notes – C.G. Drews

I love love love the bookblog by Paperfury. It was one of the first book blogs I read and I’ve always been inspired by her. So when I learned she wrote a book I had to have it. And I still want to read it haha. But I know she’ll break my heart so I keep putting it off. At some point I will read it though!

The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas

I think everyone knows this book and I’ve had it on my shelves for quite a while now. This book is so important and I do want to read it. It’s embarrassing I still haven’t picked it up. I know this will be such a hard read but that’s no reason to put it off.

Full Measures – Rebecca Yarros

A couple of my friends love everything Rebecca Yarros writes and I had to try her books for myself as well haha. I have the first two books in this series, I won them in a giveaway. But I still haven’t read them haha. It’s not my usual genre, but like I said I do want to try them.

These are 5 contemporary books on my TBR. Have you read any of them? Do you think I will enjoy them? Let me know in the comments! I would love to hear from you.
