We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
After my last life update I was hoping for some fun things for this one as I had a week off work. Unfortunately I want to Carnaval here in the Netherlands and got Covid after so that was the end of my vacay haha. I was sick for over a week and wasn’t able to do anything unfortunately. The positive test result came back on the morning of my birthday so I spend that all by myself haha. Such a shame! The only good thing was that I was better right before my first concert in two years. A friend and I had tickets to go see the Lumineers and it was finally happening. We needed a negative test result to be able to go, fortunately we both got that and had an amazing night!
No new eARC’s this time around, time to focus on the ones I already have ;).
Unfortunately with being sick I haven’t been reading so I’m still not finished with Gallant. I really hope I can pick it back up this week and finish it. With everything going on I just haven’t been reading this year and I really miss it!
I haven’t really been on my computer so I didn’t see any bookish news unfortunately. Hopefully next time!
Nothing new here unfortunately. After buying a plane ticket for this summer I have to manage my money for a bit haha.
I have binged the new Formula 1: Drive to Survive this weekend, other than that I have just been watching my usual shows. Since I was sick, I didn’t really watch all that much, just slept a lot haha. I also watched Formula 1 testing in Bahrein, this week is the first race of the year!
Both before and after the concert I have been listening to The Lumineers non-stop! I love their songs and reliving the concert has been awesome haha. You can bet I’ll continue listening to these songs for weeks to come.
