Last month Candyce shared some of her 2022 five star predictions and I figured I would share some of mine today. I picked a couple of books I want to read this year, I only went with 5 because even that commitment is huge for me haha. Let’s take a look!

The Bone Shard Daughter – Andrea Stewart

I got this for my birthday last year and I would love to read it before my next one (which is in like a month haha). From the description and the reviews I think this is going to be a 5 star for me. This world and magic sounds like something I would enjoy reading about a lot.

Strange Grace – Tessa Grutton

I have been wanting to read this for so long! And I think I will love this one a lot. It sounds like my kind of brutal and dark story and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. This is the year I will finally read it!

Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard

I need to read this so badly! Book 4 is out already as well so I should read them back to back haha. I adored the first two books so I have high hopes for this one. There are going to be some plot twists and I think I will be very grateful to have the next book available.

Red Sister – Mark Lawrence

I have seen so many raving reviews for this one that it’s almost impossible to not have high expectations. Assassin nuns sounds so cool and recently I have been loving all the adult fantasy I’ve read so I don’t think I can go wrong with this one.

Empire of the Vampire – Jay Kristoff

It’s Jay Kristoff, do I need to say anything else? So far I think I’ve given all his books 5 stars. I haven’t read all of them yet but I think this will be another 5 star. It’s about vampires so that’s a good start and they are brutal. I love a good dark read so I think I’m in capable hands here.
