We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

These past two weeks I have been working a lot and haven’t really done anything else haha. I did pick up my new car and I couldn’t be happier with it, it drives great and it’s gorgeous. You could say I’m in love haha. Other than that, I’ve been a bit sick and haven’t been able to enjoy the fact that the Netherlands is slowly opening up again.

No new eARC’s this week!

I only finished Only A Monster since the last update, but wow was that an amazing read! You can expect our buddyreview for that one really soon so you’re just in time to preorder it haha. To be honest, I’m not completely sure what I’ll be picking up next. It could be a lot of reads, I might switch around a bit before settling on one actually.

I didn’t buy anything these last weeks, need to save for some upcoming trips this year haha.

I have been watching a ton of Netflix as I have been a bit sick on and off so I haven’t really felt like doing anything else to be honest. Two shows I have binged are Outer Banks and The Woman In the House Across the Street From The Girl in the Window. I really enjoyed both (and yes they are both bonkers haha).

Recently I have been listening to a lot of Maddie Zahm songs and I really enjoy them. I think she deserves more attention so please go give her a listen ;).

And that was my Royal Update for the week! This month has flown by but I still can’t believe it’s 2022 already. How has your January been?
