I’m sure many readers know the battle of the never ending TBR, haha. These days my TBR isn’t only physical, but also digital. I’m more worried about keeping track of my physical TBR, because I already do Down the TBR Hole and my Netgalley Backlist posts.
To help me keep track of my physical TBR I use 5 on my TBR. This is a meme hosted by Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Each week there’s a different topic to talk about the books on your TBR that fit that theme. This week’s topic is Celebrity/Famous. I recently finished If This Gets Out and am looking forward to reading more of the books I own with celebrities.
It Goes Like This – Miel Moreland
After just reading If This Gets Out I’m excited to read another book with a group of friends that created a pop band. Except in this case the band has broken up and it seems that a tragedy is going to bring them back together. I’m sure a lot will happen before that goes smoothly, but I’m excited to give this book a try.
Daisy Jones & The Six – Taylor Jenkins Reid
Out of all the books on this list today I’m the most surprised I haven’t read Daisy Jones & The Six. Taylor Jenkins Reid is an amazing author and I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book. We read about the rise and mysterious breakup of this iconic 1970s rock group. I’m honestly not sure if I want to read the physical book or listen to the audio. I know it has a full cast and those are the best to listen to.
Along for the Ride – Rachel Meinke
I honestly haven’t seen many people talk about Along for the Ride, but someone I follow on Bookstagram loved this book and it had me wanting to read it ASAP. The main character in Along for the Ride isn’t the celebrity, but her brother is. When forced to go on tour with her brother she meets the singer performing the opening act. Life will be changing after that!
American Royals – Katharine McGee
Okay, so this isn’t a book about a celebrity like singers or actors. No, American Royals has royalty. What would it have looked like it George Washington became king instead of the president? So our main characters are princesses. I’ve put this book on my TBR so ofte and I just need to sit down and read it. It’s one I’m really interested in.
Boyfriend Material – Alexis Hall
In Boyfriend Material our main character has famous rock star parents. His father isn’t someone he’s met, but his father is making a comeback and that’s also making his son interesting. That’s where fake dating comes in to make Luc’s image better. I love fake dating and have heard nothing but amazing things about this book. I need to read this one really soon!
So these are five books with celebrities/famous people! I’m sure there are more, but these are the first that come to mind. Have you read any of these? Or what are some books with celebrities/famous people you have on your TBR? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
I loved Daisy Jones! The book and the audiobook are both great–I hope you enjoy whichever you decide to go for 🙂

I loved Daisy Jones and Boyfriend Material – there’s going to be a sequel of the latter, Husband Material, out later this year. I cannot wait!
