Show Sunday| Favorite 2021 TV Shows Part 2

Books are something that take up a lot of my time, but on top of that I’m also a big fan of TV shows and watch way too many, haha. Isabelle is the same and told you about her 2021 favorite TV shows last week and today it’s my turn. 2021 was filled with a lot of amazing new TV shows, but also some older ones that I got caught up on.  Keep on reading to hear about the shows I was loving last year!

WandaVision

Disney+ gave us a whole lot of Marvel shows in 2021 and it was exciting. WandaVision was one of them and I loved this show. I wasn’t sure what to think in the beginning when it was only the sitcom vibes (which I did love, because I grew up watching reruns of older sitcoms). This was such an interesting story and I loved how it all ended up playing out. Such an interesting story.

Loki

Loki is a character I’ve always found interesting and his sarcasm always had me laughing. This show gave me a different look at this character and what he’s really gone through. There’s definitely a lot more to him than meets the eye and the adventures in this series kept me watching.

The Wheel of Time

The Wheel of Time is a series I read quite some time ago (it all started when I finished my book while at the boyfriend’s house and not having a new book with me). It’s definitely an investment, but so worth it. They did a really good job with this show and the casting. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the last episode of the season, but I’m curious to see where the second season will go.

You

I’m still not really far with You, but it’s one I want to take my time with. I’ve read the books and they cast this really well. The show gives me creepy vibes and I’m thankful I have a couple of seasons to go before catching up.

A Million Little Things

A Million Little Things is a show that had me hooked after watching the first episode. This group of characters is really one big family and they go through so much. Season 3 was very emotional, but SO good!! I’m kind of waiting for more season 4 episodes to be aired before watching. This is the best kind of show to binge watch.

This is Us

This Is Us is a show I don’t tend to watch until a complete season is done. So much happens to this family in the past and present and I always need more. The only way to watch this is to binge it in one go. This Is Us had me laughing and crying and I’m so sad that the sixth season is the last.

9-1-1 & 9-1-1 Lone Star

I’m a big fan of medical shows, but also anything to do with firefighters and stuff like that. 9-1-1 is really the perfect combination of seeing the calls as they come through. Both of these shows always have me at the edge of my seat and there isn’t a boring moment. I hope both of these shows don’t end for a very long time.

Call Me Kat

I loved Mayim Bialik as Amy in The Big Bang Theory and I was very sad when that show ended. Which meant I was really excited when I saw she would be the main character in a new comedy. The fact that she’s a cat cafe owner just made it sound even better. The first season was so much fun and I’m excited for the second season.

Shadow and Bone

Grishaverse is one of my favorite fictional worlds and I’ve loved the books. So I can’t explain how excited I was to finally see this show. The adaptation was amazing and I loved the little hints of Six of Crows that we’ve already gotten. I just saw that they’re starting production of season 2 and I’ll be anxiously awaiting new episodes.

So here are ten shows that I really loved watching in 2021. Thankfully a lot of these will be getting more seasons and I still can enjoy the stories and characters. What were some of your favorite TV shows last year? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
