I’m a bit late on the bandwagon for this show but two weeks ago I finally started watching The Flight Attendant. And I finished it in about two days haha. I had heard off the show before and it had been on my list for awhile. One day I just felt the urge to start watching, and I couldn’t stop haha. So today I wanted to share my thoughts.
A reckless flight attendant with an alcoholism problem wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened. Unable to piece the night together, she begins to wonder if she could be the killer.
What a wild ride! I will admit part of the reason I wanted to watch this show was Michiel Huisman, an amazing Dutch actor. And I was not disappointed. Michiel did a great job at portraying Alex and I do wish his story ended differently.
As I said, this was a wild ride. I loved all the twists and turns and definitely didn’t see all of it coming. Some of this twists were very surprising and I liked them a lot. I really appreciate being surprised, especially in a show like this.
Cassie is our main character and while I love her, she is also traumatised and an alcoholic so she should definitely be in therapy. However, I loved how they showed us they way Cassie handled everything that was going on around her. It was really well done. You could see the mental health issues and I think they way the show visualised this was great.
I basically loved all of the storylines, I loved the acting, the visuals were great and I just can’t wait for the second season. Hopefully there will be another compelling mystery. We got a little side plot and all throughout the season you’re wondering how is this going to be important. I can’t wait to see more of that!
The second season is supposed to be released spring of 2022 so hopefully we’ll get a trailer soon. Have you seen this show? Or are you planning on watching it? Let me know in the comments down below!
