It’s December and I’m in a very festive mood. I’ve been reading holiday themed books, listening to Christmas music, and even watching Christmas movies. So I thought it was time to spread a little Christmas cheer on the blog with The Christmas Book Blogger Tag. This tag was created by Between the Lines, but it seems their site isn’t working anymore, but I found this tag on Whimsy Pages.
What Is Your Favourite Christmas Scene In A Book?
Wow, this is actually a really hard question. I always draw a blank with questions like these. Basically all the happily ever afters at the end of Christmas books make me happy!
Do You Have Any Christmas Book Traditions?
I actually don’t have any Christmas book traditions. The only thing that I really do each year is read Christmas books.
Do You Prefer To Get Presents Of Book Vouchers Or Books?
I think both are fun even if I prefer books more. It’s nice to be surprised when opening a book. I enjoy browsing at bookstores, but opening gifts is fun too!
Do You Give Books As Presents?
I do! Not to everyone I give gifts to, but there are quite a few that also love to read. I’m also already looking forward to March, because Isabelle and I are going to annotate a book for each other as a present. If it’s fun that may just have to become a Christmas tradition.
What Bookish Item Is On Your Christmas Wishlist?
I’ve been seeing a lot of readers use a PopSocket on the back of their Kindles and I have to say that looks like a great idea. Sometimes it’s just not comfortable holding them anymore. So one of those along with a new Kindle case is on my wishlist this year.
What 3 Books Would You Love Santa To Have In His Sack For You?
Now talk about a hard question, haha. I have quite a few books on my Christmas wishlist, but three I would really love are: Aurora’s End (I need to know how the trilogy ends), We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This, and Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake.
Fake Christmas Tree Or Real Christmas Tree?
Growing up I’ve always had a real tree and still get one every year. Ours is a bit late this year with everyone getting sick, haha. I’m looking forward to decorating and having the amazing tree smell in the house for a few weeks.
What’s Your Favourite Thing About Christmas?
For me the favorite thing about Christmas is just the cozy feelings it gives. I love all of the decorations, movies & shows, curling up on a cold day watching a Christmas movie, the smell of the tree, and so much more. It makes the dark and cold days enjoyable.
What Christmas Book Would You Recommend?
There are so many Christmas book that I would recommend, but one I read and loved this year is The Twelve Dates of Christmas. This one had everything I love about holiday reads and I think about it often. I know I’ll be rereading this one in the future.
What Dish On Your Christmas Menu Are You Most Looking Forward To?
I love a lot of the treats you can get around the holidays. On holidays I also make baked macaroni and cheese. We don’t have it often, so I always look forward to it!
When Do You Open Your Christmas Presents?
We open our presents on Christmas morning. Sometimes we’ll open one on Christmas Even, but it depends on what we’re doing. I always love putting the wrapped presents under the tree. It always looks so pretty. We can’t do that until Christmas morning, because of our cats now, but it’s still fun.
What’s Your Favourite Christmas Song?
I don’t know if I have one specific Christmas song that’s my favorite, but I love a lot of the carols. One of my favorites is Jingle Bell Rock. It’s a catchy song that puts a smile on my face.
Are You Dreaming Of A White Christmas?
I’m always dreaming of a White Christmas, but I have to say it’s been quite a few years since we had snow on Christmas. It would make the day even better if we did though.
So this is The Christmas Book Blogger Tag. I’m tagging anyone who is looking for a festive tag or who loves Christmas as much as I do. If you do this tag, please let me know. I’d love to see your answers.

Why is it that when someone is asked “can you think of a book with this type of scene in it?” before they asked that question you could have thought of ten books, but the second they ask it your mind goes blank..lol… Happens to me all the time!
