We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Once again these past two weeks haven’t been really exciting. It’s been getting cold and rainy here, so the perfect weather to curl up at home with a book and kitty. Last week was Thanksgiving and even though we don’t live in a country that celebrates anymore we still have our own little celebration. It was a cold and rainy day, but we had a beautiful rainbow (well two actually, but one was more visible than the other).

I’ve added four ARCs to my Kindle since my previous Royal Update. They all look and sound amazing!

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading It’s Raining Men, I’m Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas, The Box in the Woods, The Donut Trap, Mistletoe & Mr. Right, So This Is Christmas, and The Christmas Carrolls.

I’m currently reading The Holiday Swap, You’ll Be the Death of Me, Portrait of a Scotsman, The Last of August, and Love From A to Z.

This week I’ll be starting The Mistletoe Motive and Duke, Actually.

There was one item of bookish news that caught my attention this week. The Third Daughter and The Second Son both sounds like books I’ll love. I read Sweet & Bitter Magic and loved it, so I’m excited to read more by this author.

I actually have something to share this week! It’s not something I bought, but received and it’s too fun not to share. My mother bought us these Hallmark mugs. It describes me perfectly! This is my new favorite mug.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve started watching two new shows. The Wheel of Time is on Amazon Prime and I’ve watched all four episodes. I loved the books and have to say the show didn’t disappoint. There are four more episodes this season and I’m excited to see how it continues.

Also, the first two episodes of Hawkeye arrived on Disney+. I love everything Marvel, so we had to watch this show. The first two episodes were really good and I can’t wait to see more! This show takes place near Christmas and that also makes me very happy!

Okay, it’s Christmas season for me and I’ve been listening to some older music. I was a big boy band fan as a teenager and still love the music. So it’s been *NSYNC’s Christmas album this past week on Spotify.
