Wishlist Wednesday| Anticipated Releases December 2021

We can’t believe it’s time to start talking about the last month of 2021! We’ve said it before, but these last few months have really gone by super fast. Today we want to start talking about our anticipated December releases. December isn’t normally really busy with new releases, but let’s talk about the ones we’re excited about. Keep on reading to see what books we are interested in.

Read Between the Lines – Rachel Lacey (December 1st)

Read Between the Lines has everything I’m looking for in a book: a bookstore, an author, and an enemies to lovers romance. This is definitely a book I want in my life.

Good Girls Die First – Kathryn Foxfield (December 7th)

Good Girls Die First actually released last year in the UK, but is now being published in the US as well. I’ve been really interested in thrillers and mysteries lately and this one sounds great. Blackmail lures teenagers to a certain location and they all have secrets. This one will definitely be intense.

The Coldest Touch – Isabel Sterling (December 7th)

I have an eARC for this one and while I really want to read it I’m also scared. This is going to be heart-breaking! I can barely read through the synopsis, so I’m sure the book will get some tears. Hopefully the paranormal part of the story will be well done!

If This Gets Out – Sophie Gonzales & Cale Dietrich (December 7th)

I loved the Sophie Gonzales book I read previously so I was excited for her newest release. And after I read that synopsis is was even more excited. This sounds amazing! I love boy bands and I think this will be both heart warming and breaking. Hopefully not in that order ;). Because I want a HEA for these character already haha.

The Righteous – Renee Ahdieh (December 7th)

I loved the Beautiful and finally finished The Damned recently haha. This is going to be the third book in the series and I’m excited for the new POV. The story also goes in a direction I didn’t predict from the first book so I’m very much interested to see where we’re going.

What the Cat Dragged In – Kate McMurray (December 7th)

Okay, to be honest I became interested in this book just because of the title and the cat on the cover. All I needed to read was cat cafe romantic comedy. I’m sold!

A History of Wild Places – She Ernshaw (December 7th)

Shea Ernshaw wrote The Wicked Deep and I loved the atmosphere and story. A History of Wild Places is an adult thriller and the cover has me so intrigued. This book is going to be dark and intense, but I’m very curious about this story.

Call Us What We Carry – Amanda Gorman (December 7th)

I loved Amanda’s inaugural poem and I have that one in hard copy. And I’m very excited for her poetry collection that is releasing. I’m sure it will be great and I love to support such an amazing person.

The Love Con – Seressia Glass (December 14th)

Fake dating (and the one she’s fake dating is her best friend) and a main character that love anime, gaming, and cosplay. I love when main characters are more “nerdy” and I can’t wait to read The Love Con. I have an e-arc and need to get started.

How Not to Fall in Love – Jacqueline Firkins (December 21st)

Our main character thinks romance is a marketing tool, but her best friend is a romantic. So she decides to teach him how not to fall in love. We all know that some type of feelings are going to develop and I’m looking forward to reading this story.

Here’s to Us – Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera (December 28th)

What If It’s Us was a fun read and I’m excited to pick up this sequel. After the ending of the first book it makes me very happy there is going to be more. I love both of these authors so you just know this is going to be good.

So those are the books we’re looking forward to releasing in December. What new releases are you looking forward to? Are we missing any books you think we can’t miss? Let us know in the comments!
