We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Characters I’d Love An Update On, where are they now that the book is over? I had a couple of characters that came to mind right away. But others were a bit harder to come up with. Let’s see which characters I picked!

1.Lara Jean & Peter K. | To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before – Jenny Han

This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the prompt for this week! The moment I finished the third book in this series I saw a sequel series in my mind. It would be so great to read about Lara Jean at university. I would pre order all the books!

2. Cassie | The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

It’s been years since I read the Naturals but I would still love an update. I really enjoyed this series and the main characters have a special place in my heart. It would be great to know how they are doing now and if they have somewhat healed from their trauma’s.

3. Addie LaRue | The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab

I think this might be the book I finished most recently on this list. Addie has an amazing story but it is also very heart breaking. I adored the ending and thought it was perfect. But at the same time it would be great to get a little update. Or maybe a novella haha. There is going to be a movie so maybe I’ll get the update that way.

4. Manon Blackbeak | Throne of Glass – Sarah J. Maas

Manon is my favorite character in the Throne of Glass series (and one of them in general). So of course I would love an update on her. I want to read everything about her, past present and future. While some of that would be extremely heart breaking I hope the future holds something beautiful for her.

5. The Crows | Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo

These are some of my very favourite characters of ever so an update would be great. Maybe a slice-of-life novella. Or that hinted at third novel haha. I just need to know how my favs are doing! There were some kinda loose ends so it would be great to revisit those.

6. Cath | Fangirl – Rainbow Rowell

One of the first characters I really felt like I could relate to, so Cath is a character I would love to get an update on. Is she still relatable or did our lives go in very different directions? I would love to know!

7. Ariadne, Elena, Jack & Chikondi | To Be Taught If Fortunate – Becky Chambers

If you’ve read this book, you know why I NEED an update on these 4 haha. I loved this book a lot and that ending was just heart breaking. This is a book I won’t forget anytime soon and I wish I got to pick up a sequel. Of course the book is probably so good because of the ending but still 😉

8. Elle | Foul is Fair – Hannah Capin

This book was AMAZING. And while Elle made some questionable choices, they were also understandable. I loved reading about her and her journey of revenge. It would be great to see her on a journey of healthy healing after all that she has been through.

9. Rowan | The Turn of the Key – Ruth Ware

This is another one with an ending that warrants an update. I loved this mystery thriller but it would be amazing to get like a novella or something. This story was great but the ending was also a bit of a beginning. And I just need to know more haha. How is Rowan doing? Where did she end up?

10. Daisy Jones | Daisy Jones & The Six – Taylor Jenkins Reid

I loved this book a lot! The audiobook was amazing and I would love to know how Daisy Jones is doing these days. There is going to be a limited tv-series and the cast they announced it amazing. I’m super excited for this upcoming show and I hope to also get a tiny update on how Daisy has been doing after the book.
