I’ve been enjoying everything fall at the moment and when I saw Kerri from KerriMcBookNerd did this tag I had to do it myself. The Fall Bucket List Book Tag was originally created by Read By Tiffany and looks like a lot of fun. Let’s check this book tag out!
Light a Scented Candle
A Book That’s Lighthearted
Better Than the Movies is lighthearted (even though it does deal with grief as well). If you’re a fan of romantic comedies I definitely suggest this book. It made me laugh and I just couldn’t put it down. I knew how it was going to end from the start, but that didn’t take away to me enjoying this book so much. It’s one of my favorites of the year.
Drink Pumpkin Spiced Lattes
A Book That Has A Lot Of Hype
After The House in the Cerulean Sea became really popular TJ Klune’s newest book was on everyone’s radar. Under the Whispering Door just released last month, but I’ve seen it everywhere since readers started getting advanced copies. Part of me is always afraid when a book is so hyped my expectations are going to be too high. Hopefully I’ll have read Under the Whispering Door before this post comes online.
Go Apple Picking
A Book That Has Fun Friendships
Books with friendships are always my favorite. I love seeing an amazing support system and when friend accept each other no matter what. Side characters also tend to be my favorite, so I can say One Last Stop has some of my favorite friendships. They’re all quirky and amazing.
Wear a Cozy Sweater
A Book That Warms Your Heart
When I read this prompt there were two books that came to mind. Even those both books were also very emotional I wanted to hug both of these when I was done. The Guncle deals with grief and moving on. The House in the Cerulean Sea deals with being different, but also accepting that about others and yourself. I will definitely not forget either of them.
Bake Cinnamon Rolls
A Character Who’s A Talented Chef
I actually had to think about this prompt. Eventually I thought of Lila from Arsenic and Adobo. Reading this book definitely made me hungry!
Jump Into a Pile of Leaves
A Book That Made You Jump For Joy
For this prompt I’ll be mentioning another TJ Klune book. After loving The House in the Cerulean Sea I’ve decided I want to read more by this author. So I read The Extraordinaries and this book made me happy. I loved the friendships, the adventure, the main character, and just everything! The sequel is on my list to read in the near future.
This tag was so much fun and I tag everyone who loves the fall season. Let me know if you do this tag, because I’d love to see your answers! Do you have a fall bucket list? What do you plan on doing. Let me know in the comments!
Fun tag!
