Wishlist Wednesday| Anticipated Releases November 2021

We’ve now reached the last week of October, so we’re down to months left in 2021. That normally means that book releases slow down for a couple of months before January is nuts again. What are our anticipated November releases? Keep on reading to find out!

Gilded – Marissa Meyer (November 2nd)

I love Marissa Meyer so I’m automatically interested. Although I still have a couple of her books on my TBR…. This is a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin and I have asked for one for so long. Can’t wait to see what Marissa did with this story.

A Psalm of Storms and Silence – Roseanne A. Brown (November 2nd)

After reading A Song of Wraiths and Ruin earlier this year I’ve been anxiously awaiting A Psalm of Storms and Silence. I loved the magic in this world and the characters. I need to know how Karina and Malik’s stories continue.

You Can Go Your Own Way – Eric Smith (November 2nd)

I loved Don’t Read the Comments by this author, so when I heard about You Can Go Your Own Way I knew I needed it. The cover is stunning. Our main characters get stuck in an arcade together during a snow storm. That’s going to be interesting!

Briar Girls – Rebecca Kim Wells (November 2nd)

A bisexual retelling of Sleeping Beauty that sounds pretty brutal. You can sign me up! I think this will be an amazing story.

Going Viral: A Socially Distant Love Story – Katie Cicatelli-Kuc (November 2nd)

Even though I’m not quite sure if I’m ready to bring the pandemic into my reading world this book sounds like my kind of book. Our main character writes a love story online and it goes viral. What will this all mean to her? I have an e-arc and hope to soon find out.

Margot Mertz Takes It Down – Carrie McCrossen & Ian McWethy (November 2nd)

Veronica Mars meets Moxie. Do I even have to say anymore? I adore Veronica Mars so much and will read any book that mentions her in the synopsis.

Cupcake – Cookie O’Gorman (November 2nd)

This author wrote the book Adorkable and it was really cute. If I’m honest the cover of Cupcake was the first thing to grab my attention. I have a feeling this book is going to be perfect for all of the readers that love romantic comedies like I do.

Blame it on the Mistletoe – Beth Garrod (November 2nd)

Besides loving everything Christmas I just can’t resist this cover. Blame it on the Mistletoe is going to be a fun holiday adventure. Our main characters, who are nothing alike, switch places and we all know that is going to be an interesting ride.

You’ve Reached Sam – Dustin Thao (November 9th)

You’ve Reached Sam is actually a book I read a few months ago. I was lucky enough to get an e-arc and this story lived up to almost all of my expectations. I can’t imagine tragically losing someone you love and then still being able to communicate with them. My full review will be online before release day.

Skin of the Sea – Natasha Bowen (November 9th)

This YA fantasy is inspired by West African mythology and I can’t get enough of mythology in general and of mythology I hadn’t heard of before. I love the diversity we are getting with all the retellings and I have high hopes for this debut.

All of Us Villains – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman (November 9th)

I actually already read this one! After getting an eARC I wanted to read it as soon as I got. I really enjoyed this world, the story and the characters and would definitely recommend this fantasy. It’s not as brutal as you might expect but it was still really good.

Aurora’s End – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff (November 9th)

Ever since reading the last page of Aurora Burning I’ve wanted this book in my hands! The ending of that book so left me wanting more. These authors know how to destroy their readers, but I need to know how everything is going to play out for these characters.

Year Of The Reaper – Makiia Lucier (November 9th)

I have an eARC of this one and it sounds so good!! After coming across this cool title on Netgalley I looked into the book; the setting, the premise and the characters sound great.  I’m hoping for a brutal fantasy.

Our Violent Ends – Chloe Gong (November 16th)

While we both haven’t finished These Violent Delights we’re already excited for the sequel. The cover looks amazing. I haven’t looked at the synopsis yet because I don’t want to spoil myself haha.

Killer Content – Kiley Roache (November 30th)

A group of TikTokers are in a house together when one ends up dead. I’ve been loving thrillers lately and I love when influencers are main characters in books. I can’t wait to start reading Killer Content.

You’ll Be The Death Of Me – Karen McManus (November 30th)

Karen McManus writes great YA mysteries so I added this one without looking at what it’s about haha. I’m just pretty sure I will enjoy it. There are one of two of her books still on my TBR but I hope to read them soon.

These are the books we’re looking forward to in November! Do you plan on reading any of these? Or do you have books on your list we missed? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you.
