We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is bookish pet peeves, but I’m not really feeling that one this week. So I’ve decided to talk about upcoming romance books I’m excited about. Let’s take a look!
Donut Fall in Love – Jackie Lau
A baker and an actor start bonding after said actor knocks over two dozen specialty donuts in her shop. That’s definitely an interesting way to meet. I have a feeling this is going to be a rom-com that pulls on the heartstrings.
Mr Wrong Number – Lynn Painter
After loving Better Than the Movies (I’ve read it twice since it released in May) I was really excited about this author’s next book. A steamy text message goes to a wrong number turns into an anonymous relationship. Things could get interesting!
Weather Girl – Rachel Lynn Solomon
Rachel Lynn Solomon is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I’ve read a YA book and one of her romances in the past year and I’m hooked. I love her writing. Our main characters in Weather Girl (a TV meteorologist and sports reporter) decide to work together to get their boss and his wife back together. We all know this is going to lead to them developing feelings for each other.
Delilah Green Doesn’t Care – Ashley Herring Blake
So far I’ve only read middle grade books by Ashley Herring Blake, so I’m so curious to see how she writes a romantic comedy. The first few words in the synopsis describe this as a clever and steamy queer romantic comedy. I will definitely sign up for that.
Payback’s a Witch – Lana Harper
I have to say the title definitely caught my attention before even reading what the book was about. Payback’s a Witch has magic and romance. What more can I ask for this time of year?!?
Well Matched – Jen DeLuca
Well Matched is the third book in the Well Met series that I’ve really enjoyed so far. I’ve been waiting for these two characters to get their story and it’s finally here! These books take place at a Renaissance Faire and it’s such a fun setting.
All the Feels – Olivia Dade
Spoiler Alert was one of my favorite books last year and I’ve been anxiously awaiting for the sequel. Alex is quite the wild one and Lauren was hired to keep him in line. This is definitely an interesting start for a possible relationship.
The Love Con – Seressia Glass
The main character loves anime, gaming, and cosplay. Just knowing that has me interesting in The Love Con. Add the fake relationship trope to the story and I’m completely sold!
The Roughest Draft – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
Could you imagine having to work with your ex after an ugly break up? I don’t think anyone can, but our two main characters have to come together to write one more book they have due on a contract. And of course, it’s a romance book. We all know that’s going to get very interesting.
Asking for a Friend – Andi Osho
Three best friends decide to solve all of their relationship problems by working together. They’re going to ask out people in real life for each other. I have a feeling that’s going to get very messy, but could also definitely lead to something good. I’m curious to see where this goes.

These romances all sound amazing. Some are releasing this year and some early next year. A few of these are even already on my Kindle, because of e-arcs. I’ll definitely keep updating you as I read them. Are you looking forward to any of these? Feel free to leave your TTT link in the comments.
Payback’s a Witch sounds SO good, and I really want to read the Well Met series. Bookmarking this for future reference/TBR lists–great post!
I have several of these on my TBR, but I think Donut Fall in Love has me most interested.
