We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Not much exciting things have happened the past two weeks. I’ve really been counting down until I have my three weeks off. The weather has definitely become colder and wetter, so it’s been great to curl up with a blanket and a book.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added 6 e-arcs to my Kindle. Netgalley November is going to be very much needed to try and increase my feedback ratio.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished Excuse Me While I Ugly Cry, Beach Read, The Girl in the Tower, Barb the Last Berzerker, Clueless: Senior Year, A Mistletoe Miracle, Bad Blood, Better Than the Movies, and Crossed by the Stars.

I’m currently reading Rock Paper Scissors, The Magic of Christmas Tree Farm, Hang the Moon, and many others I’m still working on. I’m only including my active reads at the moment.

There are a few books I’m certain I’ll be starting this week: The Holiday Switch, A Curse of Nightshade, and The Ex Hex.

There was one cover reveal I really have to mention this week. House of Sky and Breath now has a cover and I can’t wait to get this book in my hands. It releases in February and I can’t wait!

Since my last Royal Update I haven’t bought anything new. My Oodie has arrived, but I still need to talk a picture.

Lately, I’ve been watching more movies. We decided to do movie night every Sunday and it’s felt good to watch some new ones. Since my last Royal Update I watched Godmothered and Free Guy. Both were a lot of fun and I’m glad I gave them a try.

I’ve been listening to artists I haven’t listened to in quite some time. The last one was Delta Goodrem. I love her music. I know some of my favorite artists have albums releasing soon, so I’ll definitely be listening to those in October.
