When I opened my Disney+ last week the first thing I saw was Only Murders In the Building. And the title grabbed my attention right away. I also saw Selena Gomez so I decided to click on it. After reading the synopsis I gave it a try. The first two episodes were available so after watching those I want to give my first impression and tell you if I’ll be continuing the show. Let’s jump in!

Three strangers who share an obsession with true crime suddenly find themselves caught up in one.

I’m pretty sure there will be 10 episodes in this season. On Disney+ (the Dutch version at least) 2 episodes are available. But Hulu already released the first 3 episodes.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I started the first episode. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised. As you may know, I adore true crime podcasts and listen to them quite a lot. The main characters in this show are obsessed with a true crime podcast themselves and that’s how they bond.

When a resident is found dead in the building, they decide they have a mystery on their hands that needs solving. Apart from the mystery we also delve into the lives of our three main characters; Charles, Oliver and Mabel. They all seems to have their own secrets and mysteries and that makes the show very interesting.

I really enjoy the way this show is telling it’s story and I definitely want to watch the rest of the seasons. A lot happened already and there were some twists I never saw coming. I checked Disney+ almost daily to see if the third episode is on there already. If you enjoy a good mystery I definitely want to recommend this show. And I will update you all at the end of the season to see if the rest lived up to these first two episodes.
