Keeping track of my TBR in different ways does help remind me of the different books on my shelf that I need to read. It’s been a while since I’ve done a 5 On My TBR. This is a meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This weeks’s topic is Cozy Mystery. And while I love reading cozy mysteries, I usually get them as ebooks or listen to audiobooks. For this post I always look at my physical TBR and there aren’t any cozy mysteries on there haha. However, there are some mystery books on there! So let’s take a look at those.
1.A Curious Beginning – Deanna Rayburn
I got this one because Samm from Sassenach the Book Wizard can not stop talking about this series haha. She will get mad knowing I still haven’t read it yet though haha. But I do plan on reading it soon, I think at least ;). It sounds like a book I will enjoy a lot so hopefully it will live up to the expectations.
2.Dance of Shadows – Yelena Black
This one has been on my TBR for awhile (about 4 years haha) but I do still want to read it. Apart from it being a YA mystery, something I love, it’s also about ballet and that’s something else I adore! It looks like it also has a paranormal element, not my favorite thing but we will see.
3.All These Beautiful Strangers – Elizabeth Klehfoth
Another YA mystery. I did start reading this one a while ago but abandoned it for something else at the time. Candyce also owns this so maybe we can make this another buddyread anytime soon ;).
4. Origin – Dan Brown
I have read all the previous Robert Langdon books by Dan Brown and really enjoyed them. Pretty sure I read all of his books apart from this one actually! I own this one in Dutch because my mom wanted read it as well. Now I just have to go ahead and actually read it haha.
5. The Couple Next Door – Shari Lapena
I actually own two Shari Lapena books and I haven’t read either of them yet! A friend recommended these to me and I think I will really enjoy them. I just have to be in the mood to pick them up first.
Have you read any of these mysteries? And would you recommend me any? Let me know down below!
