We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
With the numbers going back up I have to say I’ve just been hanging around my house, haha. So things haven’t been that exciting. Just working, reading and blogging. Last weekend the boyfriend finally got his PS5, so that’s the only excitement we had.
Okay, these last two weeks weren’t good for my Netgalley feedback ratio, haha. I’ve added 7 e-arcs to my Kindle. All of them sound amazing and I’m going to need all the reading time I can get.
Since my last royal update I finished reading: China Rich Girlfriend, Pretty Savage, The Guncle, The Taking of Jake Livingston, The Soulmate Equation, A Pho Love Story, and While We Were Dating.
I’m currently reading: Hydra, Malibu Rising, Contagion, The Library of the Unwritten, Kill the Queen, and Isn’t it Bromantic?
There’s only one piece of bookish news this week that I want to share. We finally got a poster and release month for The Wheel of Time adaptation. In November it will be on Amazon Prime. I really enjoyed this series and can’t wait to see how they bring it to life.
Once again, I’ve been a good girl, haha. I haven’t bought anything new these last two weeks.
Like many people I watched the last episode of Loki! I really enjoyed this season and I’m so glad we’re getting a second one. I definitely need more of that.
The second season of Never Have I Ever is now on Netflix and I’ve watched half of the season. I’m so glad this show is back and I’ll be watching the rest this week. I love shows like this.
I recently discovered Calum Scott. The song Dancing on My Own is one that I know and it was really popular on the radio here. I just never listened to more by this singer. I’ve finally listened to the album and I have to say I really enjoy it!
