TTT #190 | Bookish Wishes

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Bookish Wishes. So I will share 10 books on my wishlist. Of course this was incredibly hard to narrow down haha. I want to get so many books! At the same time I wanted to feature some books I think I would actually try to read soon and that was even harder still haha. Anyways, let’s take a look!

1. One Last Stop – Casey McQuiston

I read an eARC of Red, White & Royal Blue last year and loved it so much. Of course I also want to read One Last Stop and I’m pretty sure I’ll love this one as well. I actually should’ve included RW&RB on this list as well, as I don’t own a physical copy yet and I really need one.

2. Ace of Spades – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

This one sounds so good!! It sounds exactly like the kind of story I will love. This cover is gorgeous and I would love to have it on my shelves. It currently has a 4.45 rating on Goodreads which is pretty high! So my expectations are pretty high as well haha.

3. 10 Truths and a Dare – Ashley Elston

One of my most anticipated releases of the year and definitely a book I want on my shelves.  I adored 10 Blind Dates and I also really loved This Is Our Story by Ashley Elston. This is hopefully going to be a very cute read.

4. A Master of Djinn – P. Djèlí Clark

Last year I first read something by P Djeli Clark and I fell in love! I read a short story and a novella, both set in the same alternate Caïro and they were amazing. This full length novel set in the same world was published in May and I am so excited to read it.

5. Network Effect – Martha Wells

The Murderbot Diaries are four amazing novella’s. I adored them so much and wanted to pick this full length novel up right away. Unfortunately I haven’t added this one to my shelves yet but I do hope to do so soon. This character was a lot of fun and very relatable for a non-human character haha.

6. Killing November & Hunting November – Adriana Mather

Killing November was such a fun and good read, but I borrowed it from Candyce so I don’t actually own it. I want to read the sequel, or better I need to read the sequel. And I would love to own both books.

7. Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare

I’ve read almost all the books in the Shadowhunter world but I still have to start this newest trilogy. The sequel is already out as well so I might just wait until all three books are out. That’s what I did with the previous trilogy and I loved binging them. It was also great not having to wait because Cassandra can end her books pretty brutally haha.

8. The Love Hypothesis – Laura Steven

I love Laura Steven, both her writing and her as a person haha. Her first book was amazing and I’m ashamed to say I still haven’t finished the sequel. But I do also want to add this one to my shelves. It sounds funny with some important messages, just like her previous book.

9. A Trial of Sorcerers – Elise Kova

While I haven’t read that many Elise Kova books yet, and don’t own as many I’d like yet, I do want more haha. Her covers are gorgeous and I want them all haha. But more importantly, her stories sound great and I’ve heard so many people rave about them. This sounds like her best one yet!

10. Chilling Effect – Valerie Valdes

This one sounds a bit ridiculous but also like a LOT of fun haha. I just really one to read this one and I think the cover is very cute. It would look great on my shelves. And my shelves could use some more sci-fi books.
