We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The little foal and my studies still take up a lot of my time. With the warm weather I also have a lot less energy so I’m super tired all the time. I have been watching a lot of football (or soccer) as the European Championships are in full swing. The Dutch qualified for the next round and I can’t wait. Oh, I also went to the zoo last week. They finally opened back up and I was so happy to be back.

No new eARC’s for me! Now I just have to finish a couple haha.

I’m still reading The Accidental Apprentice and King of Scars. But I did finish A Closed and Common Orbit and Skeptic in Salem: An Episode of Murder. After this week I hope to read a bit more but I’m not sure which books I will pick up yet. One of them will be Rule of Wolves though!

Just one piece of news this week! I love Leigh Bardugo’s work and adore the Shadow and Bone adaptation. And now it’s confirmed we also get a Ninth House adaptation. While I do own the book, I still have to read it. Hopefully soon!

I did order one thing, it’s a fandom item I will also use for my tiktok cosplays. Once it arrives I will definitely show it to you all!

Like (hopefully) everyone I have been watching Loki <3. It’s so so good! I also watched the second season of Lupin and the fourth season (+ short stories) of Elite. They were both very addictive and I binged them super fast. I finally watched Blood & Water, the series finale of Younger and started watching The Bold Type again. Yes, I have been watching a lot haha.

I haven’t really been listening to that much music, but I have been listening to another season of the Something Was Wrong podcast. This is a really good podcast and I want to binge the rest of the seasons as well.

Those were my two last weeks! After exams and handing in some big essays in the coming weeks I hope to have some more free time for reading! How has your week been? Let me know down below!
