We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I’ve lived in my new apartment for two weeks now and I’m very happy with it! It’s been really busy, combing work, my studies and now having to cook, clean, do grocery shopping etc all by myself. But I’m also enjoying it a lot and I love that I get to decide when I’ll eat, what I’ll eat, etc. While I loved living at my parents place, I love the freedom I gained again.  This week I also got to celebrate a friends 30th birthday. It was so much actually having a small party again. More and more people are getting vaccinated and slowly we can do more. I loved seeing some other people and we had a wonderful bbq.

I checked Netgalley to see if I had any new eARC’s compared to my last Royal Update… That was not smart haha. Because I went ahead and downloaded 4 more ARC’s haha. I got Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim, Little Thieves by Margaret Owen, Of Princes and Promises by Sandhya Menon and The 22 Murders of Madison May by Max Barry. Really excited for all of these!

Since the last update I finished The Tea Dragon Society and Eva Evergreen. Both were amazing reads! I’m currently reading Crooked Kingdom and The Accidental Apprentice. Last week I got an Audible trial and now I’m debating which book I should pick. So if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

Like Candyce I don’t have any bookish news this week. It seems like there is less news these past couple of weeks, or just not any news we’re interested in haha.

Nothing new arrived, but I’m expecting at least one of my packages to be here very soon. Fingers crossed!

I’m still watching The Vampire Diaries, but I’m almost done as I’m in the final season! We got the last episodes of Prodigal Son, loved them and I’m so annoyed it got cancelled. I also started the Expanse and War of the Worlds. Both are super good and I’ll be watching more of them in the coming weeks!

Olivia Rodrigo’s new album was released last week and I have been listening to the whole album for at least 10 times already haha. This is such a good album and I love the songs on it so much. Brutal and jealousy, jealousy might be two of my favorites but it’s hard to pick just one or two to be honest!
