We already try keeping track of our TBR in different ways, but it’s also fun to look at them in themes. That’s one of the reasons why the bookish meme 5 On My TBR is so much fun. This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. This week’s prompt is Fae/Faeries. I’m sure I have a few book on my TBR that fit this prompt. Let’s take a look!
An Enchantment of Ravens – Margaret Rogerson
I loved Sorcery of Thorns and after reading that I added An Enchantment of Ravens on my TBR. A friend recently read it and couldn’t put it down. Art, faeries and emotions that are seen as weak. This is going to be an interesting read.
Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare
In the Shadowhunter world there is more than faeries, but they do play a part in this series. Chain of Gold has been on my TBR for way too long and I’m mad at myself for that, haha. This was one of my most anticipated releases last year, so I need to read it ASAP.
A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J Maas
Besides Throne of Glass I have to say I’ve really enjoyed A Court of Thorns and Roses as well. A Court of Silver Flames is the latest book in this series. It’s almost 800 pages, so I really need to make time for it. I’ve read the first 10 chapters and know it’s going to be interesting.
Valiant – Holly Black
I’m all for reading older books, but I’m still on the fence about Valiant. After having a really hard time reading Tithe I’ve been putting this one off. I did see that we’re getting a different character, but if I didn’t like the first one, will I like this one?
The Queen of Nothing – Holly Black
The Cruel Prince was a pleasant surprise for me! After it getting so much hype I put off reading it for quite some time. It was actually really enjoyable and I only have the third and final book left to read. I need to sit down and finish this trilogy soon.
So those are five books with fae/faeries on my TBR. Have you read any of these? Or do you have any other fae/faeries book recommendations? Let me know in the comments!
