We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The last few weeks I’ve been falling down the TikTok rabbithole faster and faster haha. And after hitting a ton of Harry Potter related video’s I decided I really wanted to join in haha. So I started making some video’s myself! I’ve been especially inspired by all the Marauders Era video’s (and reading a ton of Marauders fanfics) so most of my video’s at the moment are of my cosplaying Marlene McKinnon haha. The rest of my drafts are also Marlene content but I have some ideas for other characters and I plan on filming my first Caroline Forbes video today! I thought some of you might like to see my video’s so I’m sharing a link here and I might do a whole blog post about my experience so far if you are interested. Down below is just a little screenshot so you can see some video’s I did (or something haha), I just thought it would be fun to share this with you all!

Well…. I’m not sure what happened but I did get another 6 eARCs…..Oops? I just couldn’t help myself haha. And I am very excited for all of these! I also started reading already, so that’s good right?

The only books I finished are the rest of the Harry Potter series…. Pretty sad actually haha. But I am reading a bunch of books that I hope to finish soon! Definitely expect to finish The Umbrella Academy vol. 1 soon. And then I will pick up the second volume. I also plan on starting a new audiobook; The Cost of Knowing.

Cover reveal for a current favorite series of mine; The Righteous will be the third book in the The Beautiful series and I am excited! I love the setting, I love the characters and I’m excited to find out what happens next. Also, the covers are beautiful!

My ‘Hogwarts outfit’ arrived! I haven’t ironed the crest on the sweater yet because I had to order another size. So that’s my next task! And a friend and I actually ordered some more stuff haha. Nerdy Ink has some beautiful Map art pieces I couldn’t resist. So I ordered them, had them sent to a friend of mine in the States (because I’m not paying $40 shipping haha) and now I’m waiting on her to send them to me. And we also ordered the most amazing t-shirts from this small business called Becoming a Nerd. She only has a certain amount of sales she can do every time she opens her shop because she’s sewing every product as ordered. I got a Weasley Wheezes Staff shirt and I couldn’t be more exciting, I think she sold out in like 5 minutes. Will show pics once everything arrives!

I’m still rewatching The Vampire Diaries and I’m also watching my shows that are currently on. So obviously I’m watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier but other current favorites are Nancy Drew and Manifest.

This weekend I watched Bohemian Rhapsody with my parents and just as I did after the first time watching it, I’ve been listening to Queen nonstop haha. I love their music so much and the movie is chef’s kiss.
