A new show aired on Netflix not too long ago and of course I already watched it haha. After watching all of the episodes in about two or three days I want to talk to you all about Ginny and Georgia. It’s supposed to be the new Gilmore Girls. Was it anything like Gilmore Girls or was it something completely different? Let’s talk about it!

Ginny Miller, an angsty fifteen-year-old, often feels more mature than her thirty-year-old mother, the irresistible and dynamic Georgia Miller.

Netflix showed me one scene from this show and that convinced me to give it a try. Pretty good move on their part ;). I didn’t know anything about the show and I’ll say I really liked that. The show surprised me and I want to keep a bit of that surprise for you all as well. Ginny & Georgia is 10 episodes long and I truly hope we get a second season!

Ginny, Georgia and Austin move to Wellsbury after the death of Georgia’s husband. We follow Ginny and Georgia as they try to fit in with their well-off neighbours. But we also see some flashbacks of their past. And I really liked those! We get a very different look at them and I think that was what made this show for me.

Both Georgia and Ginny are pretty complex characters. They do some things I don’t necessarily agree with or that I ‘liked’ but they fit their characters very well and I think their characters made sense so to say. Like I said before, I watched the whole show in a matter of two or three days and I think that says it all haha. I’m eagerly awaiting news about a second season (and there better be one!). While it’s not Gilmore Girls, it might be a great show for people who enjoyed Gilmore Girls.
