We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

As I mentioned last time we got quite a bit of snow here and it got really cold. Because of this the trains were a mess and I basically had just about a week off of work. I just couldn’t get there. It wasn’t a bad thing for me though. It was nice having a few days off and taking a few walks in the snow.

The snow is gone now and we even have Spring like temperatures today. This week I only worked and went to Amsterdam for a passport appointment. It was unbelievable how empty it was. I haven’t been there in over a year, so it was quite weird to see. Other than that, I had a relaxing Saturday night playing D&D with friends.

Once again, I got quite a few ARCs in the past two weeks. While I love the fact I have received these and am excited to read them, it’s not good for my constantly growing TBR. These are the books I’ve received.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve read: Obsidian, Bringing Down the Duke, Branded by a Song, Always and Forever Laura Jean, Bridge of Souls, Chasing Lucky and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.

I’m currently reading Cemetery Boys, Octavia Bloom & the Missing Key and Onyx.

I plan on starting One to Watch, I Think I Love You and A Court of Silver Flames.

This week was pretty busy for me, so I honestly didn’t really keep track of any bookish news this week. I know there were a lot of cover reveals this week, but I didn’t save any! I’ll make sure to keep a look out for my next update.

Just like last time I haven’t bought anything new. Everything is still closed here, so there’s not really a chance for spontaneous shopping. That’s only good for my wallet though, haha.

The boyfriend and I are now working on the third season of The O.C. I have to say out of all of the teen dramas I’ve seen that this one is really dramatic, haha. I’m interested to see how everything will go though. The third and fourth seasons are ones I’ve never seen.

Penatonix released a new album and I was really excited! I’ve been enjoying these new songs on my way to and from work this past week.
