It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for another tag. I found an adorable tag at the Literary Phoenix. Amber has a gorgeous blog and I love her headers. The original creator, Becky from Blogs of a Bookaholic made some beautiful headers for this tag and you can bet I’ll use them <3. So today I will do the Pancake Book tag for you all! Let’s dive in.
To be honest, this is something I really notice when reading. But when looking back, I think the writing in The Daughter of Smoke and Bone and the sequels stand out. The story is wonderful and I truly felt like I was in Prague or any of the other places that are described.
When I think of a witty character, one that comes to mind is Kitty from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Kitty is Lara Jean’s little sister and she’s hilarious! I really liked her in the books and I think they did a great job with casting her in the movies. Can’t wait for that last movie <3
There is only one answer possible here, Harry Potter. I reread this series so many times and since discovering audiobooks I’ve gone a bit crazy haha. During this quarantine I’ve reread the whole series and I’ve already started listening to it again.
I hardly ever get book hangovers so this question is always so hard to answer haha. Last time I got this question I think I didn’t pick any book and I think I’ll just give the same answer. I’m happy to say I don’t get book hangovers!
I’m not really sure how to interpreted this question to be honest. The way I’m going about it is to pick a book that is a guilty pleasure! And I’m going with the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery series. I love this series, it’s not great but it’s so much fun. It’s a cosy mystery series with witches, shifters, vampires and so much more. All in all, it’s so much fun!
For this one I have to agree with the tag creator Becky and go with Victor Vale from Vicious and Vengeful. Victor is a wonderful character and the more you get to know him, the more depth he shows. He seems pretty awful at first but he is amazing to read about!
Deadly Little Scandals, the sequel to Little White Lies, had some crazy plot twists! I loved the first book and it was so much fun guessing what was happening in the second book. Some of the twists I did guess, others I wouldn’t have guessed in a hundred years!
I never really cared about Aelin and Rowan if I’m being completely honest, but I do think they work well together. In the end I don’t think she should’ve been with anyone else but like I said, I just don’t care that much. Rowan is probably one of my least favorite characters in the Throne of Glass series haha.
Ugh, Locke from the Folk of the Air series. I hate him so much and low key hate the way his story ends because he deserved so much worse. He is one of the worst characters I’ve read about ever, he’s right up there with Umbridge 😉
The Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire has wonderfully diverse characters! I actually just started a reread of the series and I love all the representation we get. There are all kinds of sexuality, genders, and body types. I can’t even list all the representation from memory. Seanan writes all these different types of characters very naturally into her story and I loved reading it.
This was another fun tag! Now I want to know, which romantic pairing didn’t you like at first but ended up being great? Tell me all about it in the comments!
Nice tag and great answers. I could certainly read Harry Potter again and again!
Thank you! Hogwarts truly is always there to welcome us home <3
I’m just going to pretend that I didn’t read about Rowan being one of the least favorites haha. But on the other hand; more for me then ? I’m not sure what my answer would be here… I don’t think that I didn’t like a couple togeter at first but ended up liking in the end. Mostly when I don’t like them together in the beginning, I don’t change my mind about that haha.
Great Tag!!
Hahaha I knew you were going to be disappointed with me for that answer 😉 And yes I had a hard time thinking off any other for that, I hardly ever change my mind in that department, just like you!
This tag made me hungry. Great answers!
